Meet Dr. Elke Starr
She graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2005 and is the owner of Family Chiropractic. She takes pride in offering a multidisciplinary clinic with practitioners she trusts to help her patients meet their optimal health goals in conjunction with her chiropractic services.
Dr. Starr believes in assessing the entire body and lifestyle to get to the root underlying causes of her patient’s pain, and employs many different techniques including spinal manipulation therapy, active release therapy and rehabilitation exercises to help her patients live more fulfilling and pain free lives. She is passionate about education and can often be found researching complex patient cases to build the best possible treatment plans to assist each patient on a personal level.
In addition, she has taken extensive continuing education courses including Dr. Stuart McGill, First Principles of Movement, and Neurodynamics according to Shacklock to ensure she is providing the best possible care for her patients. In 2008, Dr. Starr also received her degree to become a Certified Animal Chiropractor after completing over 210 hours of study in Kansas. She believes everyone in the family can benefit from chiropractic care.
